Capaxima
Windows · by request · free during the beta

Try Capaxima before 1.0

Sign in by email, ask for access, and you get a Windows installer and a beta key. The beta is free. The app checks the key with capaxima.com periodically and stops working when the beta ends or if access is withdrawn — that is the one thing the beta build does that the finished product will not.

Requires Windows 10/11 x64 and Microsoft WebView2. The installer downloads a missing runtime; the portable file requires it to be installed separately. Microsoft WebView2

What the beta is, plainly

  • A real build, not a demo. The same app that becomes 1.0, with the board format and MCP tool names still allowed to move once more.
  • Free, for a month at a time. A key is good for 30 days and can be extended on request — no reinstall.
  • Two kill switches, both disclosed. The build stops on a date baked into it, and it stops if your key is withdrawn or its offline allowance expires. The finished product has neither: a paid license is checked offline and never phones home.
  • Your data stays yours. Boards are files in a folder you choose. The check-in sends your key, an id of this computer, the app version and Windows version — nothing about your projects.
  • What we ask back. Run it on a real plan and tell us where it was wrong. A sentence to [email protected] is enough.
